Master Herbalist, Susun Weed. She will talk about the European tradition of women healers regarded as witches that were burned, along with their infants by the Jesuits. They then moved to the New World to follow a mandate to kill every medicine woman and man among the Native people. American women today of all ages are reclaiming their power and re-envisioning themselves. They are once again honoring their ability to heal, simply with the gifts of the Earth and the gifts of the Grandmothers.
